Serves: Makes 6 (2-taco) servings.
1 pound ground beef
1 package Taco Seasoning Mix
3/4 cup water
12 taco shells
1 8-oz package of shredded cheese
2 Roma tomatoes
1 jar of salsa
* Gluten Free option: Make sure that the taco seasoning mix does not contain wheat. McCormick’s brand is gluten free.
* Vegetarian option: Heat a can of black beans to use instead of taco meat when filling the shells
Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat.
Stir in Seasoning Mix and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spoon into warmed taco shells.
Serve with assorted toppings.
