Camping Fees and Troop Annual Dues Reminder
Annual Troop Dues
Our annual Troop Dues need to be paid by the second Tuesday in November. That will be Tuesday, November 11th. Annual dues are $85 per Scout.
November Campout Surcharge
The November campout will be to El Rancho Cima which is always a very popular campout. Mr. Schultz will be leading the campout and is currently reserving the rifle range and looking into horeseback riding as an activity. This campout will cost more than our typical $15 / campout. Once the reservations are final and the Scouts have signed up for the activities they want you will receive an invoice for the Surcharge difference between the cost of the activities and the normal $15 campout fee.
If you need to discuss a payment plan for any of the fees, dues, or surcharges please see our Treasurer Vijay Koka at a Troop meeting to make arrangements. If you have questions about these charges or any other troop charges on your invoice please see Vijay at the next Troop meeting.
October Campout was to Camp Brosig for Webelos Woods. This was a fun campout and the Troop hosted a group of over 60 Webelos families, Scouts, and Scouters. Camp Brosig proved to be a much better location for Webelos Woods than Camp Mauritz in Ganado. Thanks to Brett Schimanski and Carlos de Carlos for leading this campout. Thanks to Robby Frank and Robert Steffen for cooking massive and very tasty meals for the  large group. There were long lines for second helpings and even thirds by some accounts. Thanks to Carlos de Carlos, Michael Nguyen, and Tan Kulachanpises for working with several Scouts to finish rank requirements so they could have a Board of Review at camp. Thanks to Robert Steffen, Robby Frank, Joe Alcorn, George Vassilas, Tan Kulachanpises, and Brett Schmanski for participating in the Boards of Review for 4 Scouts who will receive their new rank at the Court of Honor on Tue, Nov 4th. Thanks to Mike Schultz and Alex Fuhrmann for manning the camp first aid station Saturday night. Thanks to Mike for also teaching the Forester Webelos pin in the morning and afternoon. Thanks to Jack Frank, Christian Hood, and Carlos de Carlos, Jr. who led the Troop presentations to the Webelos families that were visiting from other packs. Thanks to Jack Frank and Christian Hood who were the master of ceremonies for the Saturday night campfire for the entire camp.  Jack and Christian were recognized for leading the campfire during the Sunday morning campfire. The troop also won best campfire song during the Saturday night campfire.
By many accounts this was the best Webelos Woods campout yet. Thanks for everyone for making this a fun and memorable campout for the Webelos families who all seemed to have a great time.
